Your agency should have a website, something that customers can find if they search for life insurance on the internet. Your website should have a form to fill out to get a quote or request a call. You could also have quotes on your website if you have an online quote engine, require an email address to get the quote. Simple forms on your website are an easy way to capture online leads.

Be aware that each state has laws governing the marketing of life insurance in their state. If you are not licensed to transact in all states, your website needs to indicate which state's residents you are offering your services to.

Be very cautious about this. It is an area that is attracting lots of regulatory scrutiny these days.

Max, I can't help but notice that you are soliciting business on this site without regard to what states you have a license. Do the rules not apply to you?

I AM NOT SOLICITING BUSINESS. I am answering questions.

Max, don't you include your CA insurance number because public postings are advertisements?

Just be honest. You like answering questions, but the one that you want starts, "I want to buy..."

One can't hide solicitations behind a facade of just answering questions.

I am bumping this to see if Max will respond since he appears to be wrong.
