Our father passed away in Ohio. He left a life insurance policy. Our stepmother was named beneficiary and my brother and sisters and I were named beneficiaries also. We were told that since she was mentioned first that she received everything. Is this true? Thanks

If you and your siblings were not named as PRIMARY beneficiaries, your statement is correct.
