I am trying to find out where my life insurance policys are I took 3 out in the 60/s I forgot the names of the companys state farm justed contacted me I have a policy with them there is 2 more out there I have no e mail address it will go under judys

If her death was reported to the Social Security Administration, the insurance companies subscribe to the Death Master Index and should attempt to contact the beneficiary or policy owner. It can take a few months for that to happen. Not all insurance companies are doing this, and the ones who are not have been put on notice by state insurance regulators that they should.
