If I was cut from full time work, to part time work, and then totally laid off, how are my benefits determined? Would I get a % of what my full time salary was or a % of what I was making from the part time hours?

I was coming from my mother's house and it was raining I,I went to step down on the steps and a piece of cement broke off and I fell down about 5 more steps.I went to the hospital in the ambulance,but I was later released.Do you think that I have a good case? The landlord knew about the steps and he still haven't fixed them.

I am starting an outsourcing company. I had a terrible experience in the past, where the freelancers completed the job and client didn't pay. I had a very hard time paying them, I went into red numbers and took a long time. My business is online and I hire people all around the world. Is there an insurance or some kind of service that allows me to pay my freelancers whether the client pays on time, or not, or at all, without losing everything.I heard somewhere that there was.I'd appreciate your help.
