Super Fildena is a combination medication used to treat both erectile dysfunction (ED) and premature ejaculation in men. It contains two active ingredients: sildenafil citrate (PDE5 inhibitor) and dapoxetine (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor or SSRI).
Nitrates: Super Fildena should not be taken with nitrates, which are often used to treat angina and other heart conditions. The combination of Super Fildena with nitrates can cause a severe drop in blood pressure, leading to dangerous complications.
Alpha-blockers: These medications are used to treat conditions like hypertension and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Combining alpha-blockers with Super Fildena can also cause a significant drop in blood pressure.
Antidepressants or other SSRIs: Since dapoxetine, one of the active ingredients in Super Fildena, is an SSRI, combining it with other SSRIs or certain antidepressants can increase the risk of serotonin syndrome, a potentially serious condition.
Blood pressure medications: Super Fildena can also interact with some blood pressure medications, leading to an increased risk of low blood pressure.
OTC cold and flu medications: Some OTC medications used to treat cold and flu symptoms may contain ingredients that can interact with Super Fildena. For example, decongestants can raise blood pressure, which can be problematic if combined with Super Fildena.
