Vilitra 60 is a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. It contains Vardenafil, which is a PDE5 inhibitor (phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitor), similar to other ED medications like Viagra (Sildenafil) and Cialis (Tadalafil). While it can be effective, some men may experience side effects, which can occur due to various reasons: Common Side Effects: Headache: Vardenafil can cause a headache as it affects the blood vessels in the brain. Flushing: The drug may cause facial redness or warmth. Vilitra 60 Mg Congestion: Some men may experience a stuffy nose. Dizziness or lightheadedness: These symptoms can occur due to changes in blood pressure. Indigestion: Some men may feel stomach discomfort or heartburn. Blood Pressure Effects: Vardenafil works by dilating blood vessels to improve blood flow to the penis. This can lower blood pressure. For men with pre-existing low blood pressure or those on medications that also lower blood pressure (like nitrates for heart problems), this effect can lead to dizziness, fainting, or heart-related issues. Interaction with Other Medications: If a man is taking medications for hypertension, heart disease, or antifungal treatments, these can interact negatively with Vardenafil, increasing the likelihood of side effects.
