Malegra, a medication containing sildenafil citrate, is commonly used to treat erectile dysfunction. While Malegra effective, it carries several health risks, especially when misused or taken without medical supervision. Common side effects include headaches, flushing, indigestion, nasal congestion, and dizziness. More serious risks involve cardiovascular issues such as low blood pressure, heart palpitations, or even heart attack, particularly in individuals with pre-existing heart conditions. Vision disturbances, such as blurred vision or a blue tint, may also occur. Rarely, prolonged or painful erections (priapism) can develop, requiring urgent care. Malegra may interact dangerously with nitrates, alcohol, or other medications, increasing the risk of complications.
