Cenforce 50, containing 50 mg of Sildenafil Citrate, is used to treat erectile dysfunction by increasing blood flow to the penis. However, men with severe vision problems should avoid using this medication without medical approval due to its potential effects on ocular health.
Sildenafil can affect blood flow not only in the genital area but also in the optic nerve and retina. In rare cases, it has been linked to a serious eye condition called non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION), which causes sudden vision loss due to decreased blood flow to the optic nerve. Men with a history of NAION or existing eye conditions—such as retinitis pigmentosa or macular degeneration—are at higher risk of vision-related side effects.
Additionally, some users may experience blurred vision, increased light sensitivity, or a blue tint in their vision, especially at higher doses or with frequent use.
Men with diabetes, high blood pressure, or cardiovascular disease—conditions that can also affect eye health—should be particularly cautious.
Before taking CENFORCE 50 MG or any ED medication, men with existing or past vision problems should consult an eye specialist or healthcare provider to ensure the drug is safe and won’t worsen their condition or lead to irreversible damage.
