Malegra, which contains sildenafil citrate (the same active ingredient as Viagra), is generally safe when used as prescribed. However, like all medications that affect blood flow and blood pressure, it may slightly increase the risk of stroke or cardiovascular events in certain individuals. 1. Pre-existing Cardiovascular Conditions You have uncontrolled high blood pressure A history of stroke, heart attack, or arrhythmias Significant coronary artery disease 2. Use with Nitrates or Certain Medications Combining Malegra with nitrate medications (used for chest pain/angina) can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure, which may lead to a stroke or heart attack. 3. Overuse or Recreational Use Taking Malegra than the recommended dose increases the strain on the cardiovascular system. Using sildenafil without medical supervision or buying it from unverified sources increases risks. Sildenafil works by dilating blood vessels. In very rare cases, this blood pressure change could disrupt blood flow to the brain in vulnerable individuals, leading to a stroke.
