Tadalista 20 contains tadalafil, a medication classified as a PDE5 inhibitor, and is commonly used to treat vascular erectile dysfunction (ED)—a condition where reduced blood flow to the penis prevents or maintains an erection.
In cases of vascular ED, the blood vessels supplying the penis may be narrowed or less responsive due to conditions like atherosclerosis, high blood pressure, or diabetes. TADALISTA 20 works by relaxing the smooth muscles in the blood vessels of the penis, allowing increased blood flow during sexual stimulation.
Tadalafil inhibits the enzyme phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5), which normally breaks down cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP)—a chemical that promotes blood vessel dilation. By blocking PDE5, Tadalista 20 enhances and prolongs cGMP activity, supporting sustained blood flow needed for an erection.
Unlike some ED drugs, Tadalista 20 has a longer duration of action (up to 36 hours), allowing for more natural and spontaneous sexual activity.
It’s important to note that Tadalista 20 is not an aphrodisiac; sexual arousal is still necessary for it to be effective. Patients should take it as prescribed and consult their doctor if they have underlying cardiovascular issues before starting treatment.
