Caverta 100 mg contains Sildenafil, which is commonly used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). However, there are certain situations where Caverta (or any Sildenafil-containing medication) may not be suitable for use. These include: 1. Severe Heart Conditions: Recent heart attack or stroke: If you've had a heart attack or stroke in the past 6 months, Caverta may not be safe for you. Severe heart failure or unstable angina: If you have significant heart conditions, using Sildenafil can strain your heart. Low blood pressure (hypotension): Caverta can lower blood pressure, so it should not be used if you have low blood pressure (e.g., less than 90/60 mmHg). Uncontrolled hypertension: If your high blood pressure is not well-managed, Caverta may not be safe to use. 2. Severe Liver or Kidney Disease: If you have severe liver disease (e.g., cirrhosis) or severe kidney problems, the body may not be able to process the medication properly, increasing the risk of side effects. 3. Nitrate Medications: If you are taking nitrates (commonly prescribed for chest pain or angina, such as nitroglycerin), Caverta should never be taken. The combination can lead to a dangerous drop in blood pressure.Caverta 100 mg If you have a hereditary eye condition like retinitis pigmentosa, Caverta may not be suitable, as it can potentially affect vision. 5. Severe Allergic Reactions to Sildenafil or Other Ingredients: If you are allergic to Sildenafil or any of the inactive ingredients in Caverta, you should not take the medication. 6. Peyronie’s Disease or Penile Deformities: If you have anatomical issues with your penis (e.g., Peyronie’s disease, severe curvature), Caverta may not be recommended, as it could increase the risk of complications.
