After joining a few places to spend some time with a topic near and dear to my heart, Auto Insurance and the Consumer, I've found a very volatile group of people.

Not sure if I can mention the other forums by name, and I can answer that privately if anyone is interested in that, but they seem to be 95% Auto Body shops. Meaning either techs, managers or owners. For someone currently employed by the "enemy" it's akin to walking into a mama bear's den after she just gave birth. Not a pretty sight. :)

What is the most unexpected thing that has ever happened in your life? Did something happen that caught you totally by surprise, good or bad?

My most unexpected thing that happened to me was, we got a call one September day in 2003 and it was children and youth services from Colorado on the phone, there question was did we want to get our grand daughter out of foster care. Grand daughter that we did not even know we had. Apparently she was in foster care, I won't go into details as to why.

What are you thoughts on family quality time? What are some things that you do with your family for quality time? I have a four year old who I make every effort to make each moment quality time with her, even if we are putting laundry in the washer, or taking them out of the dryer, I make sure that we have discussion during this chore.

ive been trying to get in the forum and i cant get in ,does anyone know why or what the problem is? i hope its not major.

Anyone who has kids in school must know about the fundraisers they have. My beef with them is the ones that they have that singles out low income families who cannot buy all the things they are selling.That makes some kids unhappy in school. I say the only things they should be selling at school are things everyone can afford. Our school has loads of them .Only one I partake in .It is a family fun night thing, The others I just tell them NO! The problem is ,I should not have to live in misery having to deny my kids getting to do some of the extra activities they sponsor for a price.

Whats the average per kid you spent this Xmas? My hubby thinks we should spend the same amount on each child. Thing is I have one who wants mega buck items(horses and gear) One who doesn't ask for much and the older one who asks for nothing but expects something.The game is to come out debt free.

If you could go anywhere in the world to visit, where would it be? If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I would like to someday see Germany again, I have been there twice in the military, beautiful country, that was in my younger day and we partied way too much, if I could do it again sober, I would appreciate it more. Seriously, now that I am older, I think about the stupidity when I was younger. Hindsight's 20/20.

What is your most embarassing moment? Any takers for this one? Most will probly say they don't want to reveal that but maybe some will. Or maybe tell us the funniest thing that ever happened to you.

What are your hobbies or what do you do for fun? I like to read.I think what i like to do most though is what I can do on my pc.

The weather is really bad today and supposed to be this way all weekend, so you guys are stuck with me all weekend long, LOL.

bad thing is I can not get on the credit forum either, it keeps coming up a blank page, anybody else here having that problem? Hummingbird, can you load the credit page?

Oh, well need to concentrate on some other things any way, but will be checking in frequently to see if you guys are on here posting. lol
