If you could have a large-size, high quality print of any (living) artists work, signed
by them if you like, what would it be?

I'd choose this picture here by Shilin, she's a really talented artist, one of my favorite Deviants.

(Seems it auto-broke the link on the Shilin part, you'll have to delete the space.)

What's under your desk just now?

I have a rather ugly rug, a plastic box, and all 8 Chobits manga volumes. There's also some sunflower seed shells, my shoes, the computer itself, and some DVDs. A handful of folders, maps for a BYOND project, programming notes, concept art and the trap-door that leads to where "it" lives.

Well, no trap door but I can dream can't I?

So tell me, whats under your, probably more tidy than mine, desk?

An old man goes into the Social Security Office and fills out an application. Too old to have
a birth certificate, he is asked to prove he is old enough. He opens his shirt and shows them
the gray hair on his chest and they accept that as proof. He goes home to his wife, show's her
the check, and explains to her what has happened. She replies, "Well get back down there, pull
down your pants, and see if you can get disability!"

The Elephants Have Arrived!

No, I'm not drunk, after all, it's only 3:35 pm.

Hello Everyone,

I'm excited about our new "Insurance Blogging" blog, say that three times in a row.

I have worked very feverishly in getting this blog up and running, so has Lakemen.

I feel that more people would blog if they actually knew what they were doing, so why did I start the blog? Anyway.

One of the traits of a successful person is that they try not to make the same mistakes as other successful people have. In other words, they want to make their own mistakes (new ones).

Remembering back 8 years ago with the big milinium scare, alot of people did not think we would all be here, computers were going to crash, life could not go on as normal.

I know we have a thread for our personal goals, but what about the others in our lives, like the troops in Iraq and other foriegn countries, those suffering from some disease and our loved ones.

Well, we made and look at us, 8 years later, still going strong. For the brand new year I have a few wishes.

Happy New Year...

Does any one know the significance of having Pork and Kraut for new years, we have always done this and I have never questioned the meaning behind it, LOL. Just wondering if anyone knows.

With the New Year coming upon us, I choose to throught the resolution, because I never stick to them. So, I want to post my goals and ambitions for the year.

1. To become smarter on my finances, better budget my money and pay off some smaller bills so I can dedicate more money toward my long term bills. such as mortgage and car payment.

2. Save all my money from forums other writing sites for a six month period, first six months make an extra car payment, second six months save for christmas.
