I'm truly concerned about my favorite stallion. I've heard about horse mortality insurance, but I'm not too sure of it's features. Can you help?

It's a real good thing to protect your investment in the event your horse dies out of sickness, disease or an accident. Such coverage would depend upon factors like the age and breed of your horse.

See, there are other factors that would decide your premium for such coverage like the worth of your horse, the way you're gonna use it for etc. You'd also need to go through your state laws regarding this.

You may cover your horse for up to the fair market worth. Assume your fair market value to be an amount that you'd obtain if you sell the horse right away.
