my insurance ends feb 1, my new job states they will pick up as long as I document having prior insurance but my new job needs a cancel letter from my current insurance, I am waiting on that letter and I will probable not have by feb 1, will I be without coverage during the period of changing insurance.

You can have credible coverage health insurance before you enroll in your new health plan, if it is not interrupted by a period of 63 days or more. As long as you have “credible” health insurance coverage, you can use it in your new health plan to offset pre-existing condition exclusion period.
