my 11 yr old daughter was in accident and was hurt, the police could not determine who was at fault for the accident when the hospital bill and information was sent to the insurance company they said because my daughter wasa guest passenger they would not pay a loss. My daughter did not cause this accident and is now afraid to get in the car with anyone but me. Why should I have to pay these co-pay and out of pocket expenses for doctors visits? The grandmother buys them thing so they will ride with her. does that make them a guest?

My wife had several minor parking lot accidents, and conveniently none of those were actually reported properly. We even don't know whom to point fingers at, since no one left a note. If I want to make an insurance claim, can I sum up all the repairs under one or do I have to report each of them separately?

when does a car receive salvage title?

I’m a little perplexed about salvage titles. I have heard that, for a car to be considered a salvage vehicle, it needs to be damaged for around 70% of its value. However, I have even seen a car being totaled with a minor hit on the bumper. How’s that even remotely possible?

First insurance claim/accident to first lawsuit?

Long story, short.

'01 Lincoln TC broken into and robbed for 4500 in covered a/v equipment.

Window pryed out until broke, channel in door bent, door panel handle broken, scratches and on dash.

Went with the insurance's shop suggestion. Estimate is 2,331.36.

I'm thinking at this point. "Holy shit thats expensive, they're going to total my car."

Drop off car. Give SR special "requests/instructions" ("I know its old, but i know these scratches", blah blah, and "look, the wood grain is flawless!.... be careful please."

2011 Dodge Grand Caravan with minimal Hail damage. Estimate from insurance was 3,600. minus the 500 deductbile= 3,100. vehicle is basically brand new and we still owe 19,000. I realize because of the lein i cannot just cash the check however, can I just endorse the check and send it to my lein bank to reduce the payoff on the vehicle??? NY state vehicle btw.
