I've been working as a customer support associate since the beginning of 2003 and since last one month I'm experiencing partial hearing loss for which I am unable to continue with my services. I don't have any disability insurance. Can I get any sort of aid from the Social Security department as disability benefit?

I had been receiving my LTD benefits for the past 7 months. Suddenly, it was terminated. How can I reinstate the benefits? Will I need to re-submit the information and appeal or just ask for the file first?

8 years ago, I had a baby. I called my disability insurance and they told me I was no longer covered by them because I had to renew yearly. I was upset that I didn't know the information, but dealt with it. Two babies later, I found information showing the company is still deducting monthly fees from me. $40 monthly 10 months out of the year for the last 9 years. Can I get backpay for them deducting and not providing me with services?

My friend is in her first trimester and is still working. Her employer offers STD, and she's worried about how it'll work ? She hasn't used up her maternity leave yet. We're in NJ.

If someone can answer this I would appreciate it!, I got laid off for a couple weeks, during which time my arm keeps going numb from multiple previous back and neck problems that honestly peaked during this time. Pending my Doctor app. We're he will tell me if I can work, or need to wait and heel ; If I'm collecting UE benefits I assume I just stop filling the forms out, discontinuing those benefits and begin to file for disability for what will probably will turn into maybe 6-8months.
