how long in Ohio is the 1033 waiver evaluation process take ?

I am about to get hired onto a captive agency and considering sticking around for a few years as a producer for both P&C and LIFE, how long do you think until I am solid enough to open my own agency?
I do have sales skills, and generally I feel that I need to sell life simply to supplement my first year income due to the higher commissions

I am looking for broker dealer now.

I have been working in life insurance 12 years with security license(Series 6, 63).


I have to joined to new broker dealer until end of this month.

My contract was terminated at Nov. 1, 2010 due to a lack of production.


Last 3 years, I could not commit to insurance business due to personal reasons.

But I would do fully commit to insurance business from now on.

I was recently denied my P&C license for having 4 misdemeaners. If I request a hearing, what sort of paperwork can improve my chances of at least getting a probationary/restricted license?

Hi everyone, im new to ampm, and saw how everyone had a vast knowledge of the insurance business. I had a question and im hope everyone can help me.

I had a question about how agencies compensate new producers with existing books of business. I know that agencies want to own the book so if the producer quits they don't loose revenue. But i wondered how do they compensate the producer for taking over that book.

I was in a motorcycle accident 5 years ago. I just recently went to court and was awarded $10,000 dollars by an ignorant jury. Here is some background about me. I am a retired TSgt from the United States Air Force, spent 6 years active duty and 14+ years in the reserves. Some of my assignments were ground to air communications, satellite communication and Presidential Radio. I consider myself to be an honorable man and keep to myself. I enjoy working out in the yard, did Tung So Do ( martial arts), and went to work. Have to kids, a 23 year old son and an 15 year old daughter.

I am on felony probation for taking my child out of the state of fl they charged me with removing and or conceling a minor i am on probation but have not been convicted .Will this stop me from getting a insurance licence in fl

Hello, I'm very new in the insurance business and just wanted to introduce myself and maybe ask a few questions.

My tentative start date is October 1st with a major insurance company. Between now and 10/1/12 I have to get licensed and get so many people into the office to sign policies. I need a certain amount of life policies and a certain amount of auto policies.
