Okay, I’m going back old school for a moment.

When cold calling or setting up an appointment with a client or just about any type of dealing with a client. I want you to use the words “HELP YOU” at least 10 times. One of my 1st boss use to make me write down help you 10 times on a sheet of paper and check them off as I’m talking with a client. After a while, I didn’t need to keep up with it any longer. I just got use to saying it.

I want to come out and help you today.
I want to help you protect your family.

Online Life & Health Courses - Which One has high pass %

I have spent a day just looking into what online life and health courses are available for NC. I am familiar with the insurance industry but have never taken the exam yet. I need an online course with the Pre-Test that will help me pass the first time. I have 30 days to get this done. Needs to be online because I have regular business during the day so I can't take a classroom course. I have seen more bad then any real good comments about different companies. Need feedback from experienced professionals about 360training.com (same as learninsurance.com) also Kaplan.

Don’t be afraid of failure!

I talk with a lot of new agents that are so afraid of failure or trying new things.

The true is you will have to fall down a couple of times before you learn how to get back up.

In order to figure out what works, you first have to figure out what don’t work.

It is okay to create new ideas that other agents are not doing to prospect for business.

It is okay to go bold and try an idea that you may want to try. Sometimes you have to take big risk for a big reward.

The new Agent referenced above sold just life insurance products part-time for a period of 5 years. The agent now accepts an offer to begin selling property and casualty (P&C) insurance having no experience in P&C. What level of commission (%) should the Agent expect?

I have just recently designed a website for my insurance business. I appreciate your looking at it, and giving me feedback. It would also be nice you could click the link on the bottom of the page and give me an Alexa review. Thanks

Hi everyone,
I live in a small town in NY and have my Life and Health license. Now what do I do?
I thought I wanted to be an independent agent, but I'm finding it challenging. Which insurance companies I should try to sign up with? Which area of insurance I should focus on selling? Should I get a broker? How should I find leads? I'm also nervous about how inexperienced I am.
