I am talking to one of the big wigs at NAA, Alex Aybuyan, and he seems like and honest and trustworthy guy. I have done my due diligence on him and everthing I can find seems to be good. I have been down some wrong roads and can not make another mistake. Can anyone please fill me in on NAA, is it a good company?

I am thinking about changing my career and becoming a Insurance Agent. Should I go for my license first then find a job or find a Insurance Agency that will help me get my license and give me a job before I am licensed.

Can i sell life insurance to other broker/dealer while with World Financial Group?

I'm going to start career in insurance field (I have economic/financial education and sales/customer service experience), I'm thinking about Farmers Insurance or Bankers Life and Casualty. Do you have any comments which company is better to start with?

I interviewed for the Field Reserve Manager position with Farmers and was wondering if anyone out there has experience in this position they could share.

There are a few details that Im trying to gather on most of the major companies without having to go to each companies site. I would like to know which ones cancel at a certain age an which ones raise the premiums over the years.

I have both my life and health insurance documents piled up in my file. I guess it's a tough job to follow an insurance contract all by myself and I don't think our agents are that efficient to explain everything. Does anyone have a clear understanding of a legitimate insurance contract?

My captive company is non renewing fire policies which are all DP-1. I recently purchased this book of business. Many customers only want the same coverage they have now which they have always been underinsured. Alot dont even have liability. I have a carrier we can write a DP-1 with same limited coverage. These are all tenant occupied. I quote the DP-3 with replacement cost and people dont want it because of the price. I have sold some DP-1 and I only quote them with the liability of course.

Has anyone tried Superior Access? If so, is it a solid company? Are there any hidden fees? Do they pay good commissions? Any advice will be much appreciated.

I want to get started part time in the insurance biz. Is getting my license the first thing I need to do? I have pretty much all winter off, so i was thinking about starting out part time this winter. I am interested in P&C and also life.

What would be that best way to start out part time in the insurance business?
