Any One Know How to Sell Mal practice ins. for professionals?

independent agency owner who is looking to hire 1st producer. What % should I pay for new business and renewals for auto and home biz? How about life insurance? Thanks!

Would anybody be interested in joining me? If 4000 agents got together investing 5K each, we could purchase a small insurance company to sell Final Expense insurance. Because we are all owners in the insurance company

I am truggling to find new carrier that willing to write new business for tier 1 and tier 2. I have over 1000 clients that need to rewrite with new company or they will leave. Hello I'm an insurance agent in Georgia and I'm having difficulty finding companies that write Landlord policies for owners renting out their condos. I know many companies write landlord policies for stand alone homes and townhouses.

Please point me in the right direction of companies that accept these risks.

How much should I expect to pay for an insurance agency that has been in business for over 40 years at the same location. Is there an industry standard of figuring out how much to company would be worth. They have about 3000 clients. Do mostly P&C work.

After working at an Allstate Insurance agency for a year, I'm looking to open up my own insurance agency (P&C for now, with possibility of L&H in future) in my home town area in NJ. Can anyone offer me an advice on how to go about opening an indepdendant agency in NJ - A general process / Where to look to buy a book of business, if available / or How to get appointed through major carriers when starting from scratch, etc. / Who are the wholesalers in NJ I may work with / Are there any franchise companies for insurance business - and is this a good way to do the business?

I want to get in the insurance field, but right now I would like a CS job in an office. After working manual labor for ten years, working weekends and what not, I would just like a nice "9 to 5er" Mon-Fri. With that said, this field also interests me because I want to be a part of a career that actually helps people. I see myself being very satisfied with this.

What steps do I need to take? I'm currently looking at classes to get licensed. Where do I go from there?
