I've heard that the live transfer of insurance leads increases our chances of hitting it well with our prospects. I'm yet to know how this thing actually happens.

Are the insurance brokers truly independent unlike agents? Please write to me regarding their typical tasks.

Hi I know this question has probably been asked a thousand times but I currently have an active P & C license in Arizona I have since moved to Colorado and I want to get a license here. Problem is I have a Class 4 Felony Drug Possession conviction and to apply for a license in CO I need to give up the License in Arizona. Can you get a License in Colorado with a F4 conviction I don't believe it's a breach of trust felony as I was not convicted with the "intent to distribute" which is an F3. If anyone has experience or can point me in the right direction I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

My question is, can I also be appointed with other insurance companies? The one that has hired me as an FA is BankersLife and there is an independent agency that I would like to do business with as well.

Is it possible to be appointed with bankers and also with 3 other insurance companies through an independent agency?

I am from the state of Utah. I recently had an interview with the owner of many insurance agencies in our state. He really liked my resume and the person I am. I have prior felonies which happened 4 years ago, they are for prescription fraud. I worked for a dentist and I called in prescriptions without him knowing. I feel terrible and have never done anything like that since. I am working hard to become a better person, but I'm worried I won't be able to get my license. He said he would hire me if i got a license to be an insurance agent.

hi i was wondering how many auto and home policies can a new independent agent ca sell in a year realistically?

I recently was licensed as a P&C producer in Michigan. I started working for an Independent Agency, however I feel that the commission offered to me seems really low (50%) of the total commission. I was recently talking to a friend that mentioned that there are company's out there that someone can join and pay a monthly flat fee, is this true and how much would this fee be? And if so, who are these company's?

Someone called me the other day with an insurance offer over the phone. The was pushing too hard for my SSN. I've asked him to call later. Is it okay to provide such information over the phone?
