What is the commission for a Group Health Producer?
My first year I agreed to a salary but I continue to bring in very large accounts. My goal is 1500 lives my first year. I already brought in premiums of $3mil this month to the agency. I can not find any information on % paid on group health but I feel I would make much more if I change to commission....Any thoughts?

I'm an agent that has three years of experience. I've never acquired an agency before. I'm looking into buying a a Non Standard Auto book of business. I'd like to know what are the main questions to ask so that I may valuate the agency properly. I have some main points covered already like retention ratios, the trend of the book from the last five years, etc.

Any tips or advice would be gladly appreciated.

I am out of work and looking for a career in which I have over 30 years knowledge in Parts, Service and Sales in the Heavy Truck and Equipment Industry.

I have worked with adjusters on many occasions and found it very challenging and would love to find out about becoming a Adjuster.

I'm a personal lines agent currently setting up with an Agency as an employee. The contract offered will be commission only with earning roughly 6% on the sale. I also bring to the Agency a web marketing system which helps bring in a few extra leads a month. Nothing huge. I'm basically just wanting a clearer idea of how things work. Any feedback is much appreciated.

What are common agent commissions on this product?
ie: $10,000 premium years 1-7 what would the agent receive 1st year and trailing 2-7? Thanks.

Reading about FMOs and seeing job ads that read, "if you are not receiving mandated commissions, etc" make me fearful of what I might be getting into. Any help?
