I am giving serious thought to studying to become an insurance agent. In your opinions what are the best companies to contact?
What sort of features should I look for? I am reviewing companies by training, financial startup assistance, clerical support, leads, etc.
Your thoughts please.

I am applying ofr a job in which they will pay for me to be trained and take their required tests. But every 5 seconds on the application I run into something that says NOTE: that you are aware that you will not be an employee of "said" insurance company but will be a captive contracted insurance agent. please help... what does this mean?

I'm curious as to what the most common questions (and misconceptions) potential clients have regarding health insurance. For example:

Is my doctor in network?
What will my premium be?
What will my total cost of services be?
What's covered? What isn't?

I've been approached by several companies to go work with them. So I figured I would bring it to yall. I don't want to sell garbage.
1. How do you start out in health insurance? Ive heard alot of people start out with mega or united.

2. Is it even worth starting now that the country is leaning left.

3. How is the present economy affecting agents.

I am considering getting an adjuster license. Would this require some form of financial responsibility?

I was wondering if all these company's I see on TV that sell insurance on the internet and do not use an agent and they give a discount if you buy on line,does this hurt sales for some agents, and is it possible this could eliminate the agents job.

actually I do not have any insurance. The main reason is there is not a single professional insurance agent I came across till date. most of the people were just trying to complete their target :x No body gave me the detailed information or solved my doubts. Where can I meet professional insurance agents??
