I have 2 misdemeanors on my record in Ohio. One is 2 years old and another is 4 years old. Will this prevent me from getting a state insurance license?

I am new to insurance. I have thought about being an agent before but did not have the time to check in to it, now that I have to make a career change I have been looking into it and was getting ready to take the exam in PA what would be a good company to use for the pretest and do they also give training help for the exam.

I have been an agent for Mega for about three weeks and am interested in becoming an independent broker. What do I do? Who can I talk to? Where do I start?

Good afternoon. I am new to the world of being an insurance agent and have some questions that I would like to have addressed by the more seasoned and experienced agents of these forums. However, before I get to the pertinent questions it is probably necessary that I give you some background information about myself and how I ended up on this unforseeable path to being a health insurance agent. I am twenty six and I graduated three years ago with a B.S. in cellular and molecular biology.

I scheduled the Life exam & Accident/Health exam for the same day. Should I split the exams for different days, say a week or so apart or should I just bite the bullet and take them all at once?
