In March of 2016 I had my license revoked for 2 years as I made the blatant mistake of writing up an improper application for an advanced commission. At the end of March I can take the courses again and get my license. I have a clean background otherwise. Will it be seen? Will it be worth it or are the companies I apply to going to just turn me away because I made mistake?

I presently live in Ohio. As a young adult in Florida I made poor decisions in addiction and have 3rd degree felonies related to possession of controlled substance over ten years old at the time of conviction. 20 years ago I have 1 felony conviction for uttering forged instrument that was for a check worth $150, also a result of addiction ( no excuse, just grateful I’m no longer that person). I served 1.5 years probation successfully. I am aware from your posts it varies by state as to what I am allowed to do. Am I able to be licensed as a life and health insurance agent in Ohio?
