I'm living in South Dakota, changing careers and wondering if the insurance industry is the place to be?? I've got a degree in healthcare administration so was leaning toward the healthcare insurance aspect.

I am a licensed adjuster looking for daily claims work. I live about half way between Abilene and Lubbock Texas. I have a 15 year old son to provide for, so I desperately need work. Thanking you in advance for any help what so ever.

has anyone heard of the producers alliance? Good or bad?

i go to see the client for 1st , 2nd , 3th ..times ,some of them i do give presentation but some of them are busy . how to know that whether i can close the case or not?

Just wanted to get others' opinions as to the best final expense insurance companies.

if AIA is going to be another 2 years will there be another company taking over? What happens to the policyholders policies? Are the policies still carry on? I am an AIA agent, am I right still bring in business to the company?

What are the key knowledge areas and key responsibilities concerning the position of an insurance adviser?

I was selling life insurance on my own from my home office for about the past year. I am only able to do it part time and have thus broken even. I was thinking of getting a part-time job with an agency. My question is, do captive agents pay for there own leads or are they provided for them? What type of base salary do captive agents make? Can anyone help?

My boss is really pushing for an increase in written life apps, but I'm still pretty new to the insurance business, so unfortunately I don't have too many brilliant ideas to start setting life appointments...any tips to get more appointments set?

Can anyone tell me what they think of Banker's Life? My wife works for them as an appontment setter and they want me to come in and sell for them. I have been in the insurance industry off and on for the last 16 years and have heard of them but have never dealt with them. Opinions?
