Recent Allstate Commercial

There is currently an AllState Commercial running in my area that takes place in a courtroom with a young man (maybe 17) being sued by another for an accident he caused. The ending states that the young man owes $100K. The other lawyer says they are going to start the process immediately to recoup the amoung and the boys lawyer says he doesn't have enough insurance. The other lawyer says they will get it from savings, college fund or any other assets. The boys parents ask if they can do that and the boys lawyer says they can.

can some help me with a confusion:
first gather information from the costumers: rating factors
then they are sent to and underwriter: he or she analyzes the data and creates a quote
then: costumer likes what he or she sees then signs and then returns to the carrier and then what that costumer has a policy?
is this right?
when does a proposal becomes a policy?
as far as terms: quote, issue, bind, policy
what is the order?

any help please will be very much appreciated

Hello,

We've recently started purchasing internet leads. One thing I've noticed in my short experience working with these people is that many are super-cautious about giving me their drivers license and social security numbers. I can't say I blame them for being cautious given the problem with identity fraud in society but I need this information to get them an accurate quote. I assume that most other companies require this infirmation as well.

I am a licensed insurance agent, but am not currently active. I started EmerConnect as a company that could be sold entirely by insurance agents as an extra product offering.

I would love to get your feedback and ideas as far as how to market this product to insurance agents. There are upfront commissions and residuals as well...and there is absolutely no cost or fees to the agent.

I went to a charity event last night with Enterprise rent a car and I was the only indy among 8 other captives from various companies atour table. They all had many questions for me and we had a good time,( if that is possiable with borning agents like us) We were all pretty new to the business with my 4 years being the seasoned vet, They wanted to know about income.
