My homeowners insurance is up for renewell in 2 months. I got a letter from my Insurance co. saying they were not renewing because my roof is worn and needs replacement. My question is, since I am still covered by them at this time, can I not file a claim with them to get my roof fixed?

A lot of my shingles popup
I have homeowner insurance and the house is vacant from july until today
Still didnt rent it
The question is if the insurance will cover the roof if the house is vacant ?

I asked my insurance they told me that i have just 3 monthes to report a claim is it true?

I live in a row home in philly and 2 years ago our neighbors, who were a house flipping company, were adding in a third floor in their house and left the side of my house open. We had a massive rain and the water poured in through the walls causing 6k worth of damage. I went through our insurance and they have been trying to subrogate. My insurance said they closed the case because they were not able to get a response from the house flipping company or their insurance. I am furious.

Hi, I purchased a home about 4 months ago. I had renters insurance for the old address that has not yet lapsed and homeowners for my home.

Last night, there was a hit and run on my primary car (street side, right in front of my house) and I do not have collision or comprehensive. I have notified both the police and my car insurance, but I’m wondering if either of those policies might offer any assistance. I’d be happy if one would cover paying for new car seats (since the warranty was voided on the ones in my car).

Hi, I had a house fire and used the insurance companies "preferred contractor", 6 months later I had to terminate that contractor for failure breach of contract and failure to complete home in satisfactory condition.
