In Jan. 2011, my Mom had me contact MetLife to start a 20 yr. term life policy for $500K. I'd already called several companies the previous yr. to get quotes, had went w/M.L. because of the company's rep. Originally quotes $120/mo., but expected that to increase after the exam/med. records, since my Mom is a two-time cancer survivor. Contract and draft papers show up for $131.31/mo., and got 4 phones during in a week asking if we'd sent them back. Two months go by, no funds have come out of my account, and was told they wanted an additional exam.

My husband's step-father has confessed to taking the life insurance money that his mother meant for her 3 children to have. She had explained to my husband (17 years old at the time of passing) that the 3 children would have money when she died. At the time of her death, the 3 children relocated to live with their father and their step-father made no mention of the life insurance. When my husband probed him at the time, he said that she forget to pay the monthly payments. Fast forward 12 years later and the guilt broke him.

I recently decided to make a career change and landed in the insurance field. I have a job offer to become an agent but wanted to find out if the pay is worth it. Basically for the 1st 60 days i will be payed commission only $5 per lead sheet (dec sheet, fact finder, etc.), $30 per mono line new business policy, $75 per multi-line household, and bonuses paid as follows: $150 for $5,000 monlthy premium, $300 for $7500 monthly premium, $500 for $10,000 monthly premium and if i can get to $50,000 in the first six montha i get a $2000 bonus.

Deductable Liability insurance

Hello, I need help please; my partner is a career, which means she travels to different clients each day. The issue I have is that sometimes she is asked to take the clients out, could be to the shops or to the seaside, using her own car. My partner has business insurance but we are not sure if the client is covered to be carried in the car. We have spoken to our agent and believe it or not they don’t know either, can someone help me please.

Im new to general insurance and have been confused by a question i got from a lecturer in an exam!
It was a case study and i had to Suggest the types of general insurance for a stunts man?

This is what I had as my 1st part of the answer:

• Accident and sickness cover,
  Travel insurance
  and public liability
  Would i be right if i said these types of cover?

Agents be ware this man is nothing more then a fraud. He contacted me saying he got my information from another Rep with my company had a great deal to get me started on valid aged leads 4-6months old that would be exclusive to me for just $200. Thinking he had already been working with some of the names he had already been giving me I went ahead with the transaction and handed him off to an associate producer in my office as well. When I received my "exclusive" leads we noticed that the other rep in my office received many of the same leads.

Hello I am a sub contractor and have a bad situation developing my insurance agent did not follow thrue with his job and i just found out that i had no workers comp and the company dose not want to pay me for the homes i did. I called workers comp and they said it was against the law for them to do that but every time I go its a different story 1we can not pay you untill you have you're legit things
2 I can not pay you cuz we need to pay 45¢on the dollars and you will still owe us
3 i can not issue a check without the owner permission.
I don't know what to do anymore.

Cut a long story short... (well, try too)

A car pulled out infront of me on a dual carriageway forcing me onto a grass verge and casuing a lot of damage to my car, the driver didn't stop so I chased him, overtook him and blocked the road. He was clearly drunk but due to the awful weather a couple of weeks ago the police were too busy to attend. He admitted liability at the road and gave details, my insurance company called him on a recorded line and managed to obtain full liability from him.
