I will get a check from the insurance, I buy back the van. NOW, a friend wants to buy the salvage van from me. Is this legal in NY?

TIN, EIN and FEIN confuses me a lot. Can anyone please explain the difference?
And why would anyone need the FEIN for insurance?

parked car accident

can anyone help. My parked car was hit and pushed up on the sidewalk. The car that hit it broke an axle. There was not much physical damage to my car, but the steering was messed up. Ins co authorized a wheel alignment, when they were to do it they said they could not because the suspensions were bad. They said this was a pre -existing condition..We ahd no problems with the car before the accident. My mechanic said he drove the car and did not feel anything bad in the suspensions. If they were bad would we have felt it.. don't know what to do?

Awhile back my roommate had a accident in my car...I had insurance I don't know if he did..the person he hit got my insurance information and agreed to leave the scene..he didn't call for no medical help and said he was okay...then my insurance company denied his claim because he failed to show a police report because they left the scene and now a year and a half later he tries to sue my roommate for injuries and property damage..And has included me in the suit, saying I negligently entrusted him with my car...Can they do that? And what am I suppose to do now?

Filing against my underinsured motorist insurance

My family was in a car accident a year ago and have been working with the at fault party's insurance company to settle only to find out that the claim amounts will probably exceed their coverage.
1. Would it be advisable to file under our auto policy's underinsured policy (which exceeds their coverage) or get a lawyer and let him handle it?

auto insurance claim check

Hi,
I'm waiting on an insurance claim check. I do have a lien, will need them to endorse. First,.is there a way to rush it? I opted for an independent estimate. Minor fender bender, now brakes are making noise suddenly. Second, once check is cashed, may I use some towards rental deposit? I know insurance covers most of car rental. They usually require a credit to hold funds.
Thanks Lp
