My grandson was in a bad car accident. The driver ran from the scene, and had no car insurance. My grandson had a broken pelvis, severe head injuries, 9 broken ribs, collapsed lung. His attorney wants to sue our insurance co. Since our grandson lives in our home. What should we do? We are both disabled, and just live off of our s.s. Will our insurance company cancelled us?

Suspended License

[color=Blue]My husband is listed as a driver on my insurance but he has a suspended license for a DUI. Yeah I know ...he shouldn't be driving but he was. He was going straight through a green light and a woman was in the middle lane coming from the other way and she goes to make a left and t-bones my car. It was definitely her fault. Will she be responsible even though he has a suspended license? Of course I only have liability insurance but will her insurance have to pay? Please help me out w/this because that was my only vehicle!!!!!

Can an insurance company deny you as the beneficiary if they scanned an illegible copy of the designated beneficiary statement? Can they deny you as the assignee if you have a notarized copy but they claim they never received it?

Hello,

I was in an accident and the insurance company told me that it was repairable. They had an adjuster look at the car and authorized $9700 for repair. I could not find a shop that would fix it for that amount and the insurance decided to total the car. Now I got my total loss offer and they say my ACV is $8697. How can they value my car at less than they were willing to pay to fix it?
