I got hit by a deer and it did only minimal damage to the vehicle...I took it to get a quote and the guy issued me a check for 1600.00. I still owe liek 3000.00 for my vehicle and the check was made to the lien holder as well...i really wanna pocket the money and not bother with the vehicle restoration...due to the fact i don't have another vehicle to drive while it is being reapaired. What ? will the lien holder make me do? will they make me fix the car??? or can they?

We purchased auto and motorcycle insurance over 3 years ago, and had an accident. We moved to another province and told the broker that to we will be moving around a lot, and left them an address where they could always reach us. The policy was paid in full, but after we moved, they claim they tried to reach us to let us know that we owed about 85.00 due to an error. They had the address we gave them where we could always be reached and they never tried us there, so apparantely the mail was returned back to them.

Anyone know?

I am in Texas. A lady ran a red light and tboned my vehicle. I was the passenger in my car. She did not even attempt to stop. When she hit us it caused my vehicle to go across the road hit another vehicle and turn the opposite direction.

I inherited my mother's house after her death in October 2012. I completed all the necessary legal proceedings and I am the current owner of the house. I had affairs to settle with my place of employment which is located in another country. I traveled at the end of November and returned in May 2013. However, my niece and her family lived on the property until the middle of March of 2013. In addition, my uncle which is my next door neighbor was at the house daily.

2 Weeks ago, my partner and me got involved in a car accident. The other guy was drunk and hit our car (barely scratched it) but was so scared that he flee the place. The insurance says that it’s over 7k to repair for the damages. We followedhim that night, took pics and videos of the plot. He went to jail that night. We are both insured by eSurance but though it wise to use his insurance to cover for the repairs.

I’ve always paid my car insurance premiums monthly but now as I’m in a budgeting program and doing well here, I was wondering if I should pay the entire 6-month premium upfront. Though there is no real benefit of doing this since the end result is same. If I pay upfront my savings account would get a hit but on the other hand I’d be free of this tension for the next 5 months.

How do you pay your auto insurance premiums? Is there any benefits you draw by paying upfront?

My insurance claim is under investigation. But I have decided to sell off my car and have been getting good offers. Is it possible to cancel the claim now or the policy itself, altogether?
