I am buying my daughter a car for her 16th birthday. I live in Florida and she lives in Missouri. Her dad won't help on the purchase. She lives with him during the school year and me during the summer and breaks.

Do I register the car in Florida (since I am the owner) and let her drive it in missouri with Florida license plates. Can I register it in Missouri under her name even though shes just turning 16? Who pays for her insurance since she will have a missouri drivers license?

I'm confused but do not want her to be without a car.

I own a 2004 Nissan 350Z , and I am 23 years old and came to US last year in oct (So , I dont have a driving history as such )

Last week my car got water damaged in those heavy rains we had in Houston , Texas. The adjuster has quoted 8000$ to repair it and the car's value is 12000$ on KBB.

Also I had an accident in february which will make my premium go high ..
I was just wondering if this water damage which comes under comprehensive coverage will affect my premium ?

I had some financial trouble a few months ago and I'm slowly but surely catching up with my current bills. I do intend on paying my previous provider, but I'm living paycheck to paycheck and in desperate need of auto insurance ASAP. I haven't been driving my own vehicle, bumming rides here and there and I can't live this way anymore. I can't afford to pay off my bills before I pay for a new insurance policy. This stemmed from a social network conversation i had with one of my daughters friends. I asked some personal questions on her experience with boys since my daughter was starting to spend more time with her. I was trying to see what my daughter could be exposed to. This conversation was turned in to the police by my niece who was trying to get back at me for having my parents stop paying her cell phone bill. The whole situation sucked but I had ran out of money on lawyer fees and had to plea out. Will this cause my Life & Health insurance to not be renewed?

I was involved in an accident were I ran in to the back of a guy in a F150 (my car Ford Focus) He came to a sudden stop on the express way I then tried swerving to avoid hitting him but I couldn't avoid it and my passenger side is smashed. The adjuster declared my car totaled today and said that my insurance company would be in touch with me. I am just wondering what's going to happen next ? How much will the insurance company offer me ? What can I do ? This is my first accident I am stressing a lot right now. :(

I bought a 2010 Toyota Camry with a salvage title and my insurance company will only cover liability. I would like to buy collision insurance also. Do you know of any companies that sell collision coverage for a salvage title car.

Does anyone know what insurance company will sell collision insurance in California for a car with a salvage title?

There are too many details to explain to really get answers to my questions, but the time to act is now in this matter. Last April 2012, my son changed car insurance companies to get a better rate. His policy was one that covers what the law here in Oregon demands. Five months later my son got pulled over and was cited for DWS, his car was towed and he was given a court date.
