I am on disability benefits. I was thinking if I could earn some money without affecting the collection of my long term disability benefits.

My doctor is still treating me and hasn’t told be that I can go back to work but my insurance company is denying my disability claim. Why is it doing so? Can I sue the company for this?

I am 67 and have become disabled, I do have a disability insurance. Can I claim benefits even after the fact that I’ve reached retirement age?

I'm paying for my Aflac plan which pays for disability following a 7-days elimination period. Unum follows the same way and is paid by my employer. I went out of work, and now I'm back again. I'll soon be going out again. I don't wanna file with both of these policies, don't think it's right, but both these policies are existing and paid for. Which one seems a better option to you guys?

I am currently working part time and collecting Unemployment benefits, it has been suggested, by my doctor, to go on disability. My guestion is can I collect both unemployment and disability ins at the same time?

Hi I live in ma I was in a car accident the 8000.00 in pip insurance is that for medical and wages or is it 8000.00 for medical and 8000.00 for lost wages. Please help my insurance company is not helpfull.

I fell off the charts as a CA 99er in Feb.
Now I have painfull fibromyalgia with an MD completing forms for SDI. I was denied "You had withdrawn from the labor market prior to the date you became disabled because you were not working nor seeking work. Therefore you are not suffering a loss of wages due to your disability". I had been looking for work and completed EDD required reg with Cal-Jobs, then proved work-search records to EDD since Oct 2010-Feb 20, 2011. Why don't they already know this??

I was getting unemployment benefits from the state of California, now I am applying for disability.

My unemployment extension is about to be approved.

My doctor has approved my disability form DE-2501 for 3 months.

I was getting $423 a week for unemployment.
Will I get more now if I am approved for California (EDD)disability?

how can i figure this out?
