I hurt my leg at home and cant return to work for a while but my job doesn't want to lay me off just keep me on stand by untill i get better. Can i collect unemployment until i can go back?

Two questions, please:

1) If a California employee is laid off while on disability, can he apply for unemployment once he's able to work again? (FMLA has expired, so the person no longer has FMLA job protection.) The layoff is due to cut-backs at the company and affects multiple employees. The disabled employee is not being singled out.

2) If the disabled employee voluntarily elects to move up their final date of employment, how does that impact later eligibility for unemployment benefits?

iam collecting un from my job i was laid off now they say iam permaently laid no call back. can i still sign up??

I was on my way home then I ran out of gas..I pulled down a road off the highway so it would be nowheree near the highway and I pushed it to the side of the road..my friend came to take me to get gas and when we got back 4 hours later it was gone..I called the tow company to see why and the secretary said a state trooper had it towed....is this legal? Since I had it on the side of the road and it was only for 4 hours!

After I was approved for SSDI I received a lump sum payment. My LTD provider stated it was due them..sent check to them.

After my children SSDI benefits were approved, they received a lump sum payment. My LTd provider stated another overpayment was generated due to their benefits now..I did not send them the lump sum payment.
