I am looking for coverage for 9 duplexes and 2 single family homes for a client in Oregon. The homes are in good condition and most are built in the 50's thru 70's with 1 single family built in 1920. This home will most likely be torn down and replaced with new once the economy improves. All the homes are occupied.

Anyone have recent experience with TAG / The Assurance Group, an IMO in North Carolina?

There are some not too flattering reports from a couple years ago at ripoffreports but nothing recent. Also, those reports are primarily problems with agent commissions, leads and recruiting for final expense sales.

I am more interested in how they deal with brokers.

I'm having a hard time finding information online because there is more than one Assurance Group.

I was contacted via resume post for an interview with American General. I have been trying to get some info on them as a recruit. The little info I have received is not flattering and appears to be costly. Basic info is you get paid but then have to pay for your training and licensing etc. Can anyone give me the scoop?
