I have a felony conviction over 7 years old now, and in another state, that doesn't involve dishonesty, theft, breach of fiduciary trust or responsibility, nor is it violent. Can I get a license to sell insurance and/or investment instruments in Louisiana?

Single, one-time only conviction, terrible mistake but otherwise a law-abiding life. If that makes a difference, anyway.

What does it mean to have insurance? We know that insurance is to cover risk of some sort. Choose two types of insurance (auto, home, health, disability, or life insurance) and identify one coverage characteristic of each.

My car was picked up and the tow company damaged my wheels and dropped the car damaging the front end and side of the car.The insurance company supposingly paid the body shop. There was a suppliment sent for other damages verify by BMW. The insurance company has not paid the suppliment the body shop said they sent in for my car.The body shop will not give me a copy of what was done to my car i believe they used used parts to fix my car.

We have so many of us who're getting coverage for their smart phones. I'm still not convinced about the real needs of cell phone insurance. Can you guys help me a bit.

Can someone shed any light as to what is Moving Insurance? Sometimes it becomes crucial for the interstate movers to have appropriate insurance for the bags and baggage.

I had heard of Umbrella insurance, but now I often come across this Umbrella liability thing. Is it in anyways different than Umbrella insurance?

What is Product liability insurance actually meant to cover? Is it needed to cover damages caused to products? Or is it required to cover any damages caused by products?

My employer sadly passed away last week. His wife will be selling the business to a new owner and I am questioning my job security. She wants the new doctor to keep the staff on but of course once she leaves there are no guarantees! Wondering if I can collect unemployment if I choose not to continue with the new company? It will be a new company name -- I think this has something to do with qualifying for benefits as well.
