I was in an accedent from a drunk driver who totaled my car and have went threw extensive treatment with chiropractors and specialest, now its been 3 years waiting for this all to be setteled and the laywer i have, gave this case to another lawyer which is now charging fifty percent of the settelment which the original lawyer is wanting 3.3 percent and now hes telling me hel lower his price and try to talk to the chiropractor and specialist to lower their prices, and want to settle on 1,000.00 after losing time at work and in debt from payments of the car. is this legal.

If the state laws need to report all the cancellations. I wonder what are the Sr22's for? CA has both I know.

I was involved in a minor fender bender - my fault. The other party is seeking compensation. His insurance company called me up to ask whether they'll claim against my policy or I will pay directly to him. I went ahead to compare estimates at repair shops and found they're claiming a sound amount. Will this be considered as insurance fraud by my company, if I pay them for damages?

Is E&O insurance sold as occurrence based or as claims-made policy? Why does my agent say that I can't get an occurrence based coverage? I am a physician, practicing in CA.

I don't have collision coverage for my car, since it's an old one. The other night while I was driving, I smashed into a car which was coming out of the alley. The car was my wife's !! And the front suffered quite a bit of damage. She has got all kinds of coverage like liability, collision, comprehensive and all. Whose insurance will pay?

My 2011 Rav4 was hit along with 4 other parked cars by a rented bus. The driver was arrested for DUI and list of other charges. He plead guilty to DUI and failing to report an accident.

The book value on the Rav4 is $28K and damage was $13K. I went through my own collision for the repairs. I wanted to ask for some advice about a diminished value claim against the at fault insurance company and if that is possible now because I went through my collision coverage for the repair.

so i recieve annuity payments along with my sister. we split our moms annuity 50 50 as beneficiaries upon her death.domiciled in Louisiana she had 2 younger kids who were not added as beneficiary one of which isnt even a US CITIZEN. they now are suing annuity company to try and recieved their forced heir portion of the annuity. Now it is my and the administrators understanding that the annuity is not apart of estate and therefore is not subject to louisiana's "Forced Heir' clause.
