I was recently in a car wreck. The other party was at fault. He had no insurance or license. My car is financed through a rinky dink buy here pay here place. They don't report to credit agencies. We owe double than what the car is worth. The car was totaled out, but is still drivable. Both doors on the passenger side are smashed in. I have full coverage insurance but do not have uninsured or underinsured coverage. What happens next?

What will my insurance cover?
Who will get the check?

Any info will help. Thanks for your time

I had my car 3 mons before it was hit from behind. The car was new my loan is 38K the insurance company refused to replace the car. The frame and rails were bent, the pan ( part of the frame) was cut and a new one welded back to the frame. The car was streached by a machine back to manufacture spec, the damages was 15K. Should the insurance company pay a diminished value?

Hello all and thanks in advance. Heres my situation tell me what you think from all angles. So im at a four way stop im the only car so there are none in ffront or behind me. The only other cars are to my right. I of course wait until the first car goes then it was my turn so I went ahead. Now once im almost through the intersection bam the car to the right hits me. The damage was to my passenger side front quarter panel and the front of the passenger side door. The damage to the other vehicle was dead center in middle of the bumper. Its a gmc sierra so a big truck.

I already have minor damages on my car. I don't use it much since I have got another one as well. However, the policy for it is up for renewal. I have collision cover for the old car. Shall I include comprehensive as well? Can they deny coverage if I decide to change insurer?

My daughter was not included in the policy by the broker/agency where i got my car insurance. We reported to the agent that we had two daughters, 1 with a driver permit, 1 with a driver license. We needed them cover they often go to amusement parks, and the one with the driver permit was getting ready to get her license.

Is co-insured different than listed extra driver?

So, I live in Oregon and my 21 yr old daughter lives in our house with us. She has a small Honda scooter with the title in her name only. She got a liability policy from Progressive. When we asked them to list my wife and I as extra drivers (we have motorcycle endorsements) they listed both of us as extra drivers and also listed me as co-insured. So the policy shows my daughter and my names as insured rather than just her. My question is; does that give me any liability over and above just being a named driver?

On 13 March 2012 at 8:05 in the morning I approached Main st Wyoming Iowa , from my home 211 west Jones st. Once I entered the Main st, I looked ahead, there was no other vehicles in front of me... as I continued forward crossing over the bridge the sun came brightly I blinked at the same time I unintentionally collided into the rear of a forklift which pulled onto the main st with his rear facing across the st, no lights on the forklift, no warning signs, no person to stop traffic or guide traffic. I was not ticketed nor was the forklift driver.
