I am the lien holder for a car insured by a friend who borrowed the car for a year and paid part of the car payment. She fell behind and the repo co. came looking to repo the car on 3 different occasions. Needless to say, she ruined my credit and co-bororwer's credit. I gave her an ultimatum and said if by monday she had not cure the default, I would come take the car from her. I live in Chicago and she knew I would not be able to get before the deadline because of my work schedule. Over the weekend she called me and informed me she was involved in a car accident and had total the car.

I was involved in an accident last night and I'm not sure what the likely outcome is. I wonder if the community can shed some light on a few questions.

I came across the terms VIP home insurance and VIP travel Insurance while I was searching the Internet. Couldn't find anything more about them though. Was wondering how they are different from the standard home or travel insurance policies! Can anyone here please explain the coverage to me ?

I received a total loss settlement offer from Progressive on 10/5/12 (via email) for an accident that was 100% other parties fault (liability has been accepted by their insurance co) which Progressive (my insurance) are subrogating.

The method of robo-signing, that added much to the country's mortgage dilemma, appears to be making a revival. Credit card corporations are increasingly more often being caught mass-verifying borrowers and then taking them to court, backed with mistaken documents. Article source:

Great forum here folks. A couple questions; I'll try to stay as brief as I can.
1. Lady pulled out in front of me a week ago (Sunday), she was ticketed and has all fault. We have same carrier, full coverage. Will claims work for me as well as one would if it was another carrier? Both vehicles totalled. I have back, leg and other injuries, no breaks or stitches. 45 MPH almost head on.

Looking for pregnancy coverage in Ohio. Just got letter from Golden Rule saying that my "pregnancy is not covered"! "Only complications of pregnancy"! SCAM!! Appealing but need coverage

i would lke to know the answer to that question
