I don’t have a car of my own but I’m named as a driver in my father’s car insurance policy. Would I be able to drive a car of my friend? Would I be insured in that case?

I have a few questions regarding an incident that we were involved in a few weeks ago. On Dec 21, we were on our way back to my Mom's house from shopping, driving Southbound, and two tractor trailers hauling timber were traveling Northbound. There was a curve in the road, in which the trucks were leaning in toward our car. The weather was terrible, and as the trucks passed us, material from the trucks pelted the driver side of our car causing several dents along the drivers side of the car.

My agent told me few days back that if I’m in an accident and I don’t have enough auto insurance, I can be sued and might lose my home in the lawsuit. However, I never heard that someone lost their home for an auto accident. If I have a really good driving record, how much insurance do I need in order to save my house? I also want to know how they collect from someone who doesn’t have enough insurance.

sold my van to a friend on payments an at the time she couldn't afford to tag it an ask me to leave it in my name till after it was paid for an I agree to it as long as she kept insurance on it till it was out of my name an she said she would .she had the van for maybe a little over a month an half an I get a call from her saying my van was total an her boyfriend an granddaughter an her son was in it .they were on a highway going to drop her son-in-law off in another town an the roads were iced over an a car hit them .an I said plz tell me it had insurance on it an she said it didn't.

Possession 10 yrs ago of too many of my own prescription pills. No re-offense since then. If no, are their ever any exceptions besides expungement?

We both were trying to make a yellow when I {uninsured} struck the insured vehicle. The insured clearly stated to the police offer she failed to yield before she turned in front of me. I spoke with her insurance company and told them what she stated to the police office which is in fact in the police report. Her insurance company has filed a judgment against me. My car was totaled and taken to the city pound. I was unable to retrieve my car from the pound due to lake money. No one was injured. What can I do at this point to avoid paying this judgment if it is at all possible to avoid?

I was t-boned in a 2012 Nissan Armada Platinum 8K miles. The damage involved the frame and nearly 1/2 of the car needed paint and repairs which totaled $9,500. The State Farm rep feels a CarMax offer and NADA values do not prove my case.
The CarMax buy offer was $30,000 due to the fact this car needed to be sold wholesale. The NADA trade in value "clean" is about $39000. This $39000 value was given up by the rep.

I have an independent appraisal scheduled for this Saturday. He is an expert in the field.
