Use insurance or pay out of pocket?

My daughter (17) caught in a minor accident at a stop sign and it was she who was at fault. She smote the car in front of her. Since the damage was small, the other driver and she both mutually agreed on not reporting the incident to the insurance company and simply get an estimate and pay out of pocket. Today we received an estimate from that driver which is approx. $350 and prepared by a local dealership.

Insurance carrier denying coverage under comprehensive polic

I was caught in a sandstorm last month and reported windshield and paint damage to my insurance carrier. Afterwards, an adjuster came and inspected the damages. When I called the person who was taking care of my claim, he said that the damages done to the windshield were substantial but the paint simply worn off with time. I painted the car just 4-5 months ago out of my own pocket as the paint was fading. It is a 10 year old Mercedes and the damage was estimated at $2500.

Pain and suffering amount?

I was in an accident back in August while I was sitting in a drive lhrough line at a Mcdonalds with my window rolled down and my arm out the window. A lady in a parked car, backed out without looking behind her and crushed my wrist and hand. I suffered severe pain, couldn't drive, and had to wait to go to the doctor for four days when I finally found a ride. My wrist was broken and my hand had a severe sprang. I was then fired from a brand new job that was intended to be my replacement because the current job I had been working at for five years was letting me go in October.

Auto insurance premium

Just two months ago, I bought an auto insurance online since I would be using my dad’s car for college. I was never included in his insurance policy simply because we never felt it necessary and I never use his car before. I have the license since I was 16 year-old, but now, after working with Statefarm for these two months, they have sent me an email saying that they are not convinced with the declaration papers just because my name does not figure out there. What is apparent here is that they want to hike the premium I am paying or cancel my coverage altogether.

Lowering insurance deductible after damage

I have a $1k collision deductible and after driving for long 20 years it’s last week when I experienced a hit and run. The fender has a dent and the door has a scratch.

Since there are no estimates as of now I was wondering if I should login to my Geico account and lower the deductible amount to $250 and once the claim is complete, I log in back and change the deductible status to what it was earlier.

Would it work like this? I never filed any claim in the past so all the process is quite new to me. Thanks.

Car accident - wondering about settlement

I was in a car accident as a passenger. My husband was driving. We had our two week old baby (1st baby) and our two dogs in the car. We were rear-ended. I was on hefty pain killers due to post partum recovery. After stopping the pain killers, the back/neck pain started. I was seen by my PCP, underwent physical therapy, and chiropractic treatment. I started having numbness and tingling in my hands/arms.

Deceased husband's annuity beneficiary

An elderly husband had an IRA Qualified Annuity Policy and was taking yearly payouts. The Policy had a Sole Beneficiary. The husband made out a Change of Beneficiary Form, naming his wife as Primary Beneficiary and naming his 3 children as Contingent Beneficiaries. The form was signed by him and by the insurance agent. The husband intended to send it to the Insurance Company himself, but laid it aside, and then forgot to do so. Instead, he filed that document with his important papers, alongside the Policy. Then the husband died.

35,000 in medical expenses

The person who hit me has a policy limit of 100,000.

Am I entitled for anything additional seeing that I am no longer to do the career I had prior to my accident due to my injuries?
