I was waiting on red light in center lane, when the light turned green I started moving when suddenly I (lightly) hit a women outside the marked crosswalk. I called 911, police got our statements, the pedestrian did not have any physical injuries but was taken to the hospital.

Two weeks after I get a call from the pedestrian's attorney stating that he wants to take the case to the court.

My 2009 Audi TT was hit from behind while at a red light. After having it repaired we noticed an air leak along front windshield. We have never had this issue before. Can the leak be a result of the rear end collision?

Since a week or two I've been calling around and searching online to find the cheapest quotes. I was wandering to see if anyone is having any feedback on Erie or Auto-Owners car insurance, or should I opt for a big company like Progressive or Geico. What are some others that I might check out? I was looking for a company that has great customer satisfaction rate and claim support. Are there any advantages/disadvantages of going with an independent agent?

I had a car that was not working. I kept the car parked and waited for the title to be sent in my mail to get rid of it. There was another car that i drove. I did not insure the parked car and neither drove it at any point of time. However, one day my girlfriend's son drove the car to check out if it was working properly or not, while i was at work. Unfortunately, he met with an accident and i believe it to be his fault. he paid off the no insurance ticket issued to him. Now my they got my license cancelled for a year because of the incident.

A squirrel broke into my vehicle and ate up a considerable amount of the leather upholstery (of the seats). My manager said I won’t get coverage for this since this was not an accident. But I feel it should be covered as it was direct and an accidental loss and should not be excluded under the CA auto insurance law. What does the actual law say? Thanks.

Can I file a claim just for emotional distress and if there is no physical injury?

Yesterday, while I was driving and went around a corner, the right front wheel of the truck came off and caused substantial damage to the front fender. I’ve comprehensive coverage but no collision. I didn’t file a claim as the adjuster (a friend of mine) of the carrier told me that the incident would fall under collision coverage as the damage was caused because collision with the wheel. I too feel that he is right but still want to know if anyone went through any such incident in the past. Thanks.

I am looking for information about the way legislators consider the proper adjudication that is related to an auto claim. Can you tell me about the current trends as how claims are processed? Do they view in terms of the policyholder’s residence or do they look into the place of incident before processing claims?

Long story short, my insurance company is trying to not pay my PIP (85K). They denied my claim telling me to go to my siblings insurance company to pay the PIP but he no insurance coverage at the time of the accident. My brothers policy was cancelled 4 months before the accident!

I gathered all the proof and sent it to my insurance company to have them reverse their decision on my claim and they keep coming back saying "this isn't enough"/

I’m being charged with hit and run - moreover with no license. Even I didn’t have any insurance at that time. My court hearing has been scheduled on October 2. Do I need an attorney? Also, am I eligible to get a continuation or extension till I get an attorney? Or, would the court appoint one for me if I fail? As per the police officer, the damages were not major ones. I don’t have the individual’s info who I hit. Otherwise, I’d have done an outside court settlement by now. What should I do?
