I'm just 23 and I've not been able to pile up any credit. I also have a job but the earning is not decent. But I believe that I can afford payments toward a car and the associating insurance. Getting a loan won't be difficult as I have some good privileges with that. However, I just wanted to know a good carrier to go with. I'm a bit skeptical since this would be my first purchase. In California, how long after receiving the "title" for a total loss vehicle does the Insurer have to wait before selling the car at auction?

Can I buy totaled/salvage cars from insurance auctions and then resell them using my seller permit in CA? I just wanted to know if it is legal. Do I need a dealer license if I sell more than 5 cars in a year?

I live in KY and currently I’m shopping for a home. My car insurance policy is already with Geico but I am not liking them.

My husband’s driving record is not exactly spotless but but it was only his car that we had a couple of years ago. He added me to his insurance. Last year, I myself leased a car. We continued in spite of the high rate. A few months ago he got involved in an accident and the vehicle was totaled. Consequently, rates went up. Now I want to remove his name from the policy. I know that this will prohibit from driving the car. But I’m just trying to lower our rates. We are paying huge just for one car and when my record is spotless. We are just trying to save some money. I’ve heard that nowadays more and more people are allowing their carriers to spy on them. They say it helps reduce the premiums and to do that I just need to plug-in a snapshot device into my car. Should I do that? Could they breach my privacy with that? I’m a bit skeptical and scary after all the things regarding NSA got revealed. Would it really save me some bucks?

Recently I came across the term at some place. They insisted that we should always procure short term car insurance and in support of their claim they also showed some points. I do not remember those now. Still, just wondering if they are right. What is this short term car insurance all about and what are the advantages over a regular one?

I have a 08 duramax with 32 k mikes like brand new and 8k in addons. Went to shop for hail damage and body shop got water in cab causing issues. No dealership will give estimate due to it being a water issue. Ins. Is gonna total, but I will not give up my ride. Awaiting call as to what they will pay. Similar trucks with mostly same options are at 43k to 49k most higher miles than mine.once attorney realized ins. Co. Is gonna total he no longer wants to Perdue a suit against the idiots at body shop and thinks I should let ins. Total and buy back for salvage.

Hi! I had a conversation with a P&C agent yesterday. He told me that Medicare is not going to save me if I get involved in a serious car accident. I’m living in Michigan and this thing only goes for my state. I was wondering if this is the reason why my rates are so high! I’ll turn 65 soon. Could anybody guide? Thanks!
