Hi,

What should i do if i'm unable to reach the adjuster and supervisor?

It's been weeks now :evil:

I was hoping I could get some feedback on an insurance question.
My husband was at a roping & when he was leaving that night he hung his coiled up rope on his passenger side mirror. Of course he forgot it. On the way home it began to uncoil & the trailer he was pulling caught the end of the rope & totally jerked his mirror off......electric cable & all. Would this be considered comp or collision on our insurance?? Thank you

Massachusetts, I sideswiped a car carrier that was parked (and loading) about 5 inches to the left of the "fog" line. 2 lane highway no room to move to the left for me. I have no collision ins. My car worth abt 4k pre acc. The truck's insurance co. refuses to pay as they assume no liability, 50% rule and parked vehicle rule in Mass. I contend to his insurance co. that if the loading ramps were not extended or if some DOT safety measures were taken things could have been averted. The tractor part of the truck was had "dealer" or "repair" plates, and was not state inspected (no sticker).

My car has been totaled and I want to buy it back but my insurance company says no. Do I have any rights they said it is going to auction?

I need some advice. I probably posted this in the wrong forum. On tuesday July9, I was on my way to work. I came to a red light and stopped , and was the first car at that light in my lane to go straight across. The lane to my left was a turning lane. The turning lane light turned Green, and all of a sudden I was rammed pretty hard from the rear. My head flipped backwards looking at the inside of my roof. The sliding visor on the sunroof went back approx 8 inches. I didn't know what happened. I put my car in Park, and got out holding my neck.

I sent my demand package to the at-fault drivers insurance back in May and i'm still waiting for an offer from them based on the demand.

How long does this take usually? :?

My insurer never gave me the required written notice in California of my "right of recourse" in my first party claim. I educated myself and notified them within the 35 days that I couldn't replace my "Total Loss" vehicle for the settlement amount paid. They have continued to ignore me. They auctioned my car within 5 days of receiving title so I wasn't able to exercise my independent appraisal clause.

What has the experience of working for Western & Southern Life been like?

I am dealing with an insurance adjuster who is insisting that I have to put a rebuilt engine in my truck rather than have my shop tear down the engine and repair it because it is cheaper for them,

They have also located this engine through one of their dealers in a state over 1000 miles away,

My mechanic wanted to repair the engine rather than put a used one in,

The other choice is to keep driving the vehicle and use an additive until I trade the truck in.

So the few questions I have are.

I had my car stolen 3. Yrs ago went to deposition claimed denied
Three yrs later car turns up in impound state farm picks car up
And we do under oath hearing they denied me again saying that
Something about the coverage now car has been paid off by me. And what was I paying insurance for do I go for the civil suit now
I am stressed out
