Insurance Co will not add us (lender) as lienholder

We are an indirect auto lender. Our customer's insurance company refuses to add us as the lien holder. I offered to send the a copy of the retail contract and application for title from the state of Georgia and they still refuse.

Is there anything we can do??

Can we force the insurance company to add us as lien holder or loss payee?

Thanks!

Settlement

I am trying to figure out how settlement for a car injury is calculated. I was injured in a car accident and do have a lawyer. He has worked out my claim for me but I just want to make sure that he is getting me a fair amount. I have a permanent injury, a left thumb that will not bend at the distal joint, also have a concussion. Medical expenses totalled $26,000.00, lost wages = $1,600.00. Future medical bills = $12,500.00. Kansas has a cap of $250,000.00 for pain and suffering. He said my pain and suffering is worth $100,000. This is how he worked it out.

Multiple states / Homes / Cars Registration and insurance

Hi -

New here and hoping that we can find some answers. I have what seems to be a unique situation, that I can not find an answer for, so here we go...

My wife and I have the good fortune of owning homes in multiple states and work takes us around the country. We have homes on both coasts, CA and NY as well as a home in Las Vegas and one in Minneapolis.

We also have cars at each home, insured and registered in their respective states, here is where it gets tricky we are "residents" of Nevada, this is where we file tax returns etc ...

Repair vs Total Loss (2009 Mazda 3 Hatchback Sport)

Hi all,

I recently got into a bad accident in my Mazda 3 09 Hatchback Sport. Both the other driver and I have AAA insurance. I took my car to a body shop on Monday, AAA only got to it today (after I demanded they send someone in person rather than do a "desk review") and said that they estimated the damages at around $8000.

How to Calculate Pain and Suffering

Hi,
I was hit by a car while walking to my car in my parking garage at work. My office said it was workers comp because it happened in the building so they covered my week off work and medical bills and physical therapy totalling $6500 (broken arm). They will be subrogating to the insurance of the person who hit me. My question is in regards to pain and suffering. How should this be calculated? My attorney said the 3x number usually includes the medical bills and since workers comp covered that the pain and suffering amount would be less.

my car was repossessed about 4 years ago but it only shows as late payment with a balance of $5890. Can it still be reported as repo if i challenge this entry on my credit or is there a time limit as to when the creditor can report it as a repo.
After the car was repoed I didnt hear anything back from the creditor, never received anything as far as the car being sold or if i owe anything else on it. Vehicle was bought at a buy here pay here dealer in GA

Insurance arbitration?

Hi,

I submitted a PIP claim for my accident last June (2012). My bills were about 90K and I have a 100K limit.

My insurance is denying the claim saying my sister also has insurance at my household and i should go to her insurance, however she moved out and changed insurances around March 2012.

What should i do? Is arbitration the answer?
